Released
09/01/2009
Summary
Licensed retail industry figurehead Martin Read of training company Inn-Dispensable will be headlining at the BII Wessex Region AGM and lunch on Tuesday 27th January 2009 in Swindon.
Martin promises to take a thought-provoking look at where the industry has come from, where we currently stand and where we might be going. He will discuss the key issues of the day and share his view that every problem is an opportunity if we have the courage, energy and commitment to make it happen!
The event will take place in the conference room at Arkells Brewery, Swindon SN2 7RU. The agenda for the day starts with the regional AGM, then Martin’s presentation will be followed by lunch at The Kingsdown Inn next door.
BII has over 45,000 permanent and provisional members throughout the UK and each of its 16 regions organises regular events to ensure licensed retailers remain up-to-date with industry developments. Wessex Region chairman Alec Roud CMBII welcomes members and non-members to benefit from the tips and advice on offer and to make the most of the opportunity to network with other licensees and industry professionals.
The event on 27th January will open with registration at 10am and closes at around 3pm after lunch. Tickets cost just £20 and are available from Tim Palmer on 01202 242714 or 07771 560922. For more information or to book online, click here.
